The Digital Twin: Learns Building and System Behavior

HVAC Control learns the building’s and system’s behavior within the respective climatic and occupancy situations by creating a so-called Digital Twin. A Digital Twin constitutes a virtual copy of a physical building and its technical equipment. In the initial learning and monitoring phase, HVAC Control collects consumption data and extracts valuable information from it to feed the Twin.

HVAC Control makes the most of your technical equipment. Our smart solution is based on the respective building automation level and adds a foresight feature to smooth out operations. All it takes is a building management system with standardized interfaces so you too can start saving.

So how does it work? Step one is connecting our Recogizer ControlBox to the building technology via standard interfaces such as BACnet/IP, Modbus or OPC UA to start a detailed monitoring. In step two, a control policy is tailored directly according to your specifications and parameters, taking into account different climatic zones in each building. With live updates of operational data and forecasts of external factors, the systems are controlled predictively to make sure your requirements are met with as little energy consumption as possible.
